Snowpuppe Christmas 2015

Snowpuppe Christmas
In October we were asked by the Italian magazine Living Corriere for an interview combined with a Christmas portrait.  The portrait in our home would be taken at the end of October. We said yes, our daughter was planned on the 30th of October. I expected her to come earlier since Jonas was born with 37 weeks :)
I was wrong... this picture was taken on the 30th of October, the 2nd of November Kiki was born.

Inspiration: SNUG.STUDIO + Giveaway

A while back I was on the phone with SNUG.STUDIO we talked about the ups and downs of running our own creative business. Since the start of Snowpuppe we are very inspired by their products, it always makes me smile when I see one of their new products: minimalistic with a playfull thought. Like the SNUG.ABC poster and the SNUG.GROW growth chart. Luckily we did a trade! SNUG.STUDIO used the Moth XL grey lamp in their studio in the eating room. For a tour in the SNUG.STUDIO, you can visit this blog by Holly Becker from Decor 8. We choose some products for our son's room, since we have just moved into a new home.

WIN!!
Together with SNUG.STUDIO we are giving away a FIY (Fold it yourself) package: a SNUG.VASE low white and a white KROONUPPETo participate, just leave a comment and follow us on Instagram: SNUG.STUDIO & SNOWPUPPE. The giveaway is open worldwide. The winner will be announced on Thursday 22th of October 2015.
The flowers are not included, they are picked by Sara of Collected by Ginger, who also made this picture :)

showUP 2015

During our first exhibition at showUP we met a lot of people, a lot of nice people :)
It is very nice to see the person behind a brand, a blog or a shop.

These pictures are made by the talented Souraya of Binti home, we met earlier this year during Designkwartier in The Hague. She captured our stand the right way, thank you!

We teamed up with Sara from Collected by Ginger, she just started a design agency. Collected by Ginger is a collection of beautiful products, moments and pictures that are special or tell a story. The products in the current collection are made with ecofriendly materials and are handmade by upcoming designers from Europe.

Maison et Objet 2015 backstage

What I find so amazing of participating on a fair are the days before and after the show. As our neighbour of last year told us: 'It will turn into a jungle'. I didn't believe him then, but I do know now :) This year I tried to capture these moments and all our struggles that came along the way.

After 2 days of hard work we can say that we are very pleased how it turned out!

Read our NEW lookbook, serious in a good way!

It feels like yesterday, but it will be October this year that the adventure ‘Snowpuppe’ started 5 years ago. Here we tell you how it started (in the 5th minute :) For us this lookbook represents our passion of creating and being able working so close together professional and in our relationship.

We have become more serious, in a good way.

  • with the new material we are able to make bigger lamps;
  • we kind of found the balance between working and the private, or at least an acceptable balance….;
  • because of this we will take more time for our real passion of creating!
